Con Voce Choir

Con Voce Choir Con Voce was formed in the autumn of 2007 in Merthyr Tydfil. The choir has 20+ members and meets weekly on a Monday evening.

The choir provides its members with the opportunity to continue to develop and share their musical talents through participation in a small SATB group. The choir's prime directive is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in appreciation of the art of music through the presentation of public concerts of great choral music. Con Voce is a group of musicians, many of whom are musi

c teachers or have had many years of choral training and share a passion for performing. It demands commitment and in return, gives immense pleasure to both audiences and singers alike. The choir's Musical Director, Mr Jonathan Gulliford, is ably supported at the piano by Mrs Darya Brill-Williams.

Last night's rehearsal was a little bit different from our usual Monday evening...
We were incredibly fortunate to welcome the wonderful David Fortey to Con Voce to take us through a vocal workshop.
A lot of fun was had by all and the exercises were both simple and challenging all at the same time.

As you will see, some had more difficulty than others.... đŸ˜‚
