I’ve been a bit quiet on here this week. I very sadly lost an old friend. We had worked together for a long time at my old job and he was part of my daily life there for nearly 9 years and I’m sure I drove him crazy with all my requests on a daily basis but he never showed it.

My amazing friends have all been there for me this week and I can’t thank them enough. When you are tired and emotional and they don’t mind that all you need to do is just cry.

I will always remember you, Mr P, with the fondest of memories. ❤️

A brightly coloured bear for a Sunday morning.

People always ask me what if the fabrics don’t go together? I always say wait till you see the bear. Even if the clothes don’t look like they will match together once they are made in to a bear they look completely different.

I love the colours on this bear. It’s a rainbow of memories.

How cute is this bear. I was asked by a customer if I could incorporate some long ears on the bear as it was to remember their beloved dog who had very long soft floppy ears. So I made the normal melody bear but added some long floppy ears from a soft velvet fabric that the customer supplied along with a dog bed for the main bear.

School leaver bears are such a joy to make. I love the fact there is so many happy school memories with them, first days, school plays, Christmas parties, nativity’s, harvest festivals and end of term shows.

Capturing those in a bear is so much fun. These melody bears are 30cm tall and are £55 with embroidery.
