Our junior contemporary class are working very hard and really enjoying this new genre.

Contemporary is known as a very emotional genre using dance technique with story telling.

This class is aimed at year 5’s to year 7’s or 9-12 year olds and is on a Wednesday evening 5.00-5.45

We would like to send our warmest wishes to St David’s Church in Lordswood who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary today.

As many of our older members would know, Lordswood Dancentre was started by our Founder Miss Frances in St David’s church and we remained dancing there for 30 years!

Although our studio is not far from the church, the nostalgia of walking back through the doors today was incredible. So many dancing memories of friends came flooding back.

Our Buttercups Ballets were working hard on bank holiday Monday!
They are currently working towards their ballet exam in July, which for little ones is a very big deal, but these dancers are very dedicated and focused.

Our buttercup classes are aimed at years R-2, and we have ballet/tap classes on both a Monday and Saturday.
