Calling all Ayrshire based artists and makers!
What tales and stories inspire you?

We are looking for artists to create original work inspired by local stories, legends, folk tales, myths or perhaps there’s a story that is personal to you and your family or tales of the countryside, coast, towns and villages across Ayrshire.

Successful artists will have their work shown in the Gallery at Souter Johnnie’s Cottage in Kirkoswald, South Ayrshire. This fascinating little cottage was the home of John Davidson, the inspiration for the character in Robert Burns famous poem, Tam O’ Shanter; one of Ayrshire’s best known tales.
