Carnes Fine Art Autumn exhibition starts today, a celebration of wildlife, landscape and sculpture. We’re delighted to offer a fabulous collection of works from our lovely artists. Most of the works available definitely have an autumnal feel and timely, as summer has drawn to a close. The exhibition will run between Friday 11th September and Saturday 17th October. We have lots more exciting works arriving during the exhibition so please keep an eye on our website for further details.

Our gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm. However, please check the contact page on our website or our google business page as there will be the odd day the gallery is closed due to holidays etc..

A splash of colour and vibrancy is on display at our gallery by way of the very talented Marissa Weatherhead. Marissa’s colourful paintings are influenced by artists such as Braque, Picasso and Matisse. She brings together an array of delights in her paintings; flowers, seafood, fruit and glasses of wine are colourfully painted to create a visual feast bathed with texture and colour!

Marissa has achieved great success with numerous awards and exhibitions including residency at Sa Taronja Andratx Mallorca 2016, Joya AiR Spain 2017, Arte Studio Ginestrelle Italy 2017 and Hannacc Can Borni Spain 2018. Commission painting “The Four Seasons” for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama at the Barbican, London and exhibitions across the world including New York, London, Barcelona, Basel, Venice and Madrid.

Lots of new artworks have been arriving at the gallery these past few weeks including a stunning new collection by wildlife artist Michael Demain.

This wonderful Elephant work titled (‘Familia Ya Tempo’ which means ‘Elephant Family’ in Swahili) is exceptional, incredible attention to detail and is one of the standout works Michael has created.

Carnes Fine Art are delighted to offer a wonderful new collection of oil paintings by leading British landscape artist Harry Brioche. Harry’s works have been incredibly popular in the gallery so to replenish the recent sales, Harry has created brand new paintings which are now available and on display at our gallery.

Harry takes his inspiration from the most idyllic country views from around the UK. Each landscape displays depth and feeling through the composition, his unique ability to create light with subtle brush strokes translates into the most atmospheric paintings.
