Over the past 3 months I have been undergoing hospital investigations.
The doctors have diagnosed Bone marrow failure. It is a rare form called Aplastic Anaemia- my body has stopped producing enough blood cells.
I have just come out of a stay in hospital where I had IV chemotherapy which has suppressed my immune system. Over the next 6 months or so, we will see if this treatment is working.
If not, plan B is a bone marrow transplant.
đ This leads me to say that I will be closing The Tinderbox. I have had several enquiries about the new term and feel that itâs best for people to know the current situation. My performing arts centre meant the world to me and everyone that came each week made The Tinderbox what it was and what we stood for.
My health and my family are my priority. My family and friends have been a network of love and support. I am immensely lucky to have them â¤ď¸ Mentally and emotionally they have carried me and I have reached a far stronger place because of them. I now feel positive and ready for whatever I need to do.
Take care everyone. Much love to you all xx
