Good Morning,

We had a lovely day at the trade show yesterday while Mamma Handmade held the fort. We have seen more goodies for the remainder of the year and it’s always lovely to see our reps who support us massively whenever we ask, they are brilliant at what they do.
To get us started, we have a beautiful new chenille yarn - thicker than the gorgeous Chenillove but the same non shed quality. The patterns are a mixture of these cute sea creatures and cosy chunky blankets. I will let you know once it hits our doorstep!

Today we are starting our final class off with the Autumn CAL. I have a couple of spare packs, so do let me know if you would like us to fit you into a class or of course you can do this at home in your own time.
I will be in the shop very soon and we will be open until 2:30pm 😊

Good Morning,

These stunning metallic Liberty fabrics have been very popular online over the last week. I’m still focussing on Halloween / Autumn fabrics so I haven’t yet got my head into festive ones! But the shop is making the shift and we have plenty of festive fabrics upstairs at the moment while having the Halloween and glow in the dark ones downstairs (not to put festive fabrics in everyone’s face in September!)
More deliveries are coming in this week, so we should have all our end year fabrics in store and online soon….of course, our yarns have been in for around a month now with more on their way too 🙈 I will be nagged at about no room soon!
Open until 2:30pm today and I will be in super early tomorrow morning 😊

Good Morning,

I love shutting up the shop when it’s starting to get dull outside as the Halloween glow really comes to life at the moment! Yes, we do still have some Halloween glow in the dark fabrics at the moment!
This morning is Saturday social but I do have a few people starting the new CAL. I have made up all the packs so if anyone would like to join us last minute, that’s fine, we are ready for you! Plus if you just wish to buy the kit with the freebies included, these are ready to go too!
I added a couple of new classes earlier this week. I have a couple of spaces left on the ghost / pumpkin class and only one space left on the advent panel. Both classes are in the ‘events’ tab for full details, or just contact us for further information or to book.
I’m heading to the shop soon and we will be closing at 1pm as normal today. Have a fabulous weekend 😊

Good Morning!

What a great start to our crochet along groups yesterday with just about everyone completing one of the squares. We have more to start off tomorrow, then our final group on Tuesday. I do still have 2 spare kits, so please let me know if you would like to join in with us, or you can just purchase the kit without joining a class.

I have added the September events list below. There is a gap on a Saturday in a few weeks. I had a plan, it didn’t work, so I’m working on a new plan! But we will fill it one way or another!

Today is all about the sort out and trying to clear some of the boxes off the shop floor, so when we go wild at the trade show this weekend we have somewhere to put it when it arrives! 🤣 (I’m ok, I don’t think Mr Handmade reads my shop posts! 😉)

I’m in early and likely staying late again to sort out, so if you call after 2:30pm, the door may still be open, but call us first to check if you are making a special journey.

Good Morning!

Exciting day today as we start our new class making the Stylecraft Crochet Along, A Love Letter to Autumn. It is SOLD OUT today and thank you so much for your support.
I’m team pastel, but today we have all but one person making the original colourway! (I have 2 kits left and spaces on Saturday if anyone wants to join us before we get going again then)
If you are coming along to the CAL today, Saturday or Tuesday, please bring hooks 3.5mm and 4mm and we will see what works best for you! Meanwhile, I will have your kit, printed pattern and the goodies!! 😉

I have orders to catch up on, boxes still to unload and general sorting out to be done so I will be in early, just give me a knock if the door is locked. Closing at 2:30pm but likely to be in later!
It’s all go, wonderfully busy and the Halloween is on the shelves, come in and join the madness! 😊

Good Morning,

I didn’t get photos of all the cardigans yesterday as some are still in construction, but this gives you an idea of the beautiful work the class has been up to for the last 6 weeks. Well done everyone, the colours you have chosen really make the garments stand out and I hope you love wearing them once they are finished.
Today we are back onto knit and crochet social group and our new Stylecraft CAL Thursday group starts tomorrow. Exciting times working on a new project 💖

Open until 1pm today and we will be back early tomorrow and raring to go on the new class!

Good Morning,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We ended up at the shop yesterday as you have kept us very busy with online orders over the weekend so we took a bit of time to sort through some. The rest will be done today, thank you very much.
Today we have our final crochet cardigan class and we will move on to the new crochet along next week. Hopefully I will get some pictures of these as the colours chosen, the way they were being put together and the styles, were just lovely.
I managed a little more unboxing too and we have a beautiful nursery range of some lovely ducks. Hopefully they will be online later.
Of course I will be in early and we will be open as normal until 2:30pm so you can come in and stock up after the long weekend!
