🚨⚓️ RACE DAY IS HERE! ⚓️🚨

After all the organising, decorating, planning and plenty of “aye, it’ll be fine” moments… TODAY WE RACE!😂🏁

Here’s what’s happening:

⚓ 12:00pm – Lifeboats exercising in the harbour
🏆 12:30pm – Judging begins
🚤 1:00pm – Trawlers leave Maryport Harbour
🏁 1:30pm – TRAWLER RACE!

👀 WHERE TO WATCH
You’ll get a cracking view from Maryport Promenade, anywhere from the Sea Cadets right along towards the Golf Club & Green Lounge, plus both piers.

🎡 Fletchers Funfair bringing all the fun
🎤 Live entertainment ALL DAY on the Marina Green
🍔 Food, drink, stalls and plenty going on throughout the day

And remember, this is all part of Maryport Rescue’s huge fundraising weekend. 💛💙

BRING SOME CASH! 💷
We’ll have collection buckets doing the rounds and a raffle running, so dig past the old receipts and trolley tokens and chuck a few quid our way. 😂
