“Eyeshot” Group exhibition

Gallery The Book is proud to present its first nomadic exhibition, Eyeshot, at the 67 York Street Gallery in Marylebone, London, from the 3 to 6 of July 2026.

Eyeshot brings together a selection of emerging artists, many recently graduated from London art schools, whose practices are grounded in detail, texture, and close observation. Bringing together photography, textile work, sculpture, and painting, the exhibition explores the quiet experience of looking slowly, of allowing works to unfold over time and reveal their layered meanings.

Carefully conceived in dialogue with the space’s intimacy, Eyeshot invites viewers into an environment where attention matters, time slows, and the smallest details begin to transform how we see each artwork.

Crafted for the collection. 🌼🤩🤎

For this series of works by Catriona, we created a number of bespoke natural tray frames, each hand stained in walnut to complement the artwork beautifully.

Every frame was made to the exact canvas dimensions supplied by the artist and built with millimetre precision to ensure a flawless fit. It’s a process that combines traditional craftsmanship with meticulous attention to detail, allowing the artwork to take centre stage.

From the stain finish to the final assembly, every element was carefully considered to create a cohesive presentation across the collection.

‘Flowers Imagined’ marks Wood’s 15th exhibition since becoming a full time artist and continues her exploration of bold colour, texture and contemporary floral abstraction.

Exhibited at 67 York Street Gallery, the collection presents a vibrant celebration of nature reinterpreted through memory, feeling and artistic freedom.

A beautiful collection, a brilliant collaboration, and already looking forward to the next exhibition.

A summery evening at 67 York Street Gallery for Catriona Wood’s ‘Flowers Imagined’.

We loved the warmth of the opening, but most of all the work itself.

Spritzes, flowers and London art, what else is there?!

A beautiful moment in the London art calendar, and one we were very glad to be part of.

There’s still time to check it out – it’s open until 21 June. 🌼🤎

What a day to visit Marylebone! The sun is out and the mild weather is just lovely ☀️

The much-loved Marylebone Summer Festival returns today Sunday 14 June, 11am–5pm — with live music at Paddington Street Gardens South continuing until 8pm 🎸 🎷 🥁

Do visit our boutique gallery when in Marylebone! We are just around the corner from the festival.

Our gallery has been taken over by for a whole month, she will be around all day today Sunday showing her latest collection of floral paintings 🌷

About the artist:
Catriona Wood is a contemporary artist based in London, known for her floral paintings, now in homes and hotels across the UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia, and the USA.

Known for her playful and expressive style, Catriona captures the essence of flowers rather than their exact likeness, drawing on imagination to create compositions that feel familiar yet slightly out of reach. Her use of colour is often inspired by interiors and unusual palettes. Working in acrylic, she builds up visible brushstrokes and layers of colour. Her work has been featured in House & Garden and British Vogue, displayed on the London Underground, and acquired by Netflix for a US-based production.

Opening times:

21st May - 21st June 2026
