ceramics are part of the pop up, now open at until 21/12 ✨✨✨

Meet the Maker: Elise who has brought her ceramics all the way from Cornwall to Marylebone! Grown up in Devon, although she has drawn particular inspiration from traditional East Asian art forms and creative techniques, which were part of her formative years due to her Singapore-Chinese family.

She has developed a special interest in Japanese structural fashion trends, and this influence of the traditional and the modern can be seen in her work, as she tries to blend traditional techniques with a minimalist aesthetic.

She has started to draw inspiration from the landscape to build texture into her pieces. This is particularly evident in some of her latest work in which she has included sand from Icelandic beaches, collected from her travels! Fabulous.

Today is the last chance to visit the Terry Macey Clothing pop up! Open until 5 pm ✨✨✨

About the Terry Macey team:

Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and hands on approach with customers has become a trademark to their success. It starts at the drawing board and is followed through to fittings and fabric advice, whether in the studio, by phone or at events in other parts of the country.

Terry and Angelika both design. It is their strength and will collaborate on each garment, sometimes following separate inspirations, but always resulting in a unique and timeless creation.

For many years they travelled extensively to source unusual and good quality fabrics, both in the UK and abroad. The linens they currently work with are commissioned and woven by a small family business in southern Ireland, which it is prewashed to create a unique texture and feel.

This December, the talented Terry Macey family business return to the
gallery with their amazing collection of beautiful winter clothes. An exquisite range of woollen coats, silk velvet dresses, shirts, trousers and coats in rich soft cord and so much more. Purchases can be made directly or commissions are welcome for bespoke outfits ✨

The Macey’s just came from the Selvedge Magazine fair at St Mary's London on Saturday, and could simply roll their rails straight to our gallery next door, great! 🤩

And that’s a wrap for the ‘Art Bubbles’ exhibition by .works! 🫧

What a show. Anna and team truly went all in for this exhibition with an impressive events schedule and a lot of hard work 🫧

Wishing these new artists all the best of luck in future, we think they’re amazing! And whether being an artist full time or part time alongside juggling other jobs, commitments and family - never give up on your dreams and keep doing what you love doing 🫧
