It might be raining outside, but it always feels SUNNY in my studio!

Open door today, Tuesday 8th Sept. 19 Marlow Bottom, SL7 3LZ Open until about 4pm.

Actually, it's a great day to pop in because you can have a peek at my holiday sketchbook and also tell me what you think of my current works in progress.

And if you need a greetings card or some glass coasters as a gift then you're in luck too!

Thanks to all the lovely folk who stopped for a chat on Friends of Ray Mill Island while Marlow Art and Crafts Society and I were painting in the sunshine. It was the most glorious day 🥰

Hello Marlow locals!
For my regulars who pop in to my Open Studio days, I'm just letting you know that the Tuesday schedule is paused and will resume in September.

(Mainly because I've got lots of fun family stuff and serious commission deadlines to get stuck into at the moment, .)

That said, you might still occasionally see the Open Studio sign outside here & there which means you're welcome to pop in for arty chat and a nosey at what I'm working on if you're passing☺️

All set up at Bourne End Market!

Hi everyone!
This week has run away with me and I've forgotten to remind you all that it's Bourne End Community Market this weekend.

Saturday 8th Aug, 10m-2pm.

This market was the first one I ever attended when I was brave enough to show my artwork, so I have a joyous affection for it.

If you're not familiar with me or my work, I've attached a few examples here and will have examples with me at the weekend of course.

I'll also have my hand artwork on display; I'm attaching the example of my Mum's hand that I created when she turned 90 - do pop by if you're interested in how & why I created it.

Hopefully I'll see you there. Belle x

A lovely welcome to my client's house yesterday to deliver the third painting in this set.

These paintings filled me with joy and sunshine to create, and that's exactly what I wanted to deliver to their beautiful home.

I wonder who is sat in this beautiful spot today, soaking up the sunshine amongst the delicate fallen petals.

I wonder if they are sitting very still so I can capture them in my painting. Or maybe they are dancing about, hoping I feel their energy.

Either way, they are most definitely smiling. I'm sure of that.
