Yesterday I went 'en plein air'-ing with my Marlow Art and Crafts Society pals. It feels daring for me as it's not something I've really done before.

This was my second attempt in Hambledon after a not-so-great first go!

I'm still getting to grips with pastels - it's just so different to my normal paints, but I'm really enjoying the learning experience.

For this one, I sat in front of the REALLY long grass so I could just see the rooftops and plenty of sky.

MARLOW TOWN REGATTA
FAMILY DAY
Sunday 14th June
Come and visit the art tent by the main stage.

Will be there with lots of my Marlow Art Trail buddies.

I'm offering hand and heart artworks at a special Event Only price of £20 for larger ones or £17.50 for smaller.

(Never worked like this in front of people before so it's a bit exciting and nerve-wracking for me!)

It's the last day today and I'll be helping out at the exhibition 10-1 so I hope to see lots of visitors.

I'm very happy to have some of my work on display, especially this one, which is intended to show that relationships and interactions can still be beautiful and positive, even when someone has lost their words through dementia.

Feel free to ask me about it if you're visiting today and hope you enjoy the rest of the show too. There is so much beautiful work on display here, it's incredibly impressive.
