‘Days in the Sun’ ☀️

This is another commission I’ve had the pleasure of creating as part of an ongoing collection for a returning client, and I’m having so much fun bringing each new idea to life!

In this piece, the little axolotl is relaxing on its favourite sunbathing rock, soaking up the sunshine. 🩷

These commissions have been a fantastic opportunity to experiment with new techniques and continue developing my skills. After plenty of practice and lots of sketches, I was able to give this axolotl a more anthropomorphic feel while still keeping its natural charm. I especially love the little smile—it really brings the whole piece to life.

‘A Gentle Stroll’ 🐴✨

The lore behind this piece is still taking shape, but I always love hearing everyone else’s ideas. Where do you think she’s going? Is she simply lost in thought, or is she determined to reach a destination? And is she a wandering lady... or perhaps a queen on her journey?

One of my favourite parts of creating fantasy art is seeing the stories other people imagine before I’ve even written them.

This design was actually inspired by an old photo of my sister riding a horse, so she now has a stained glass-inspired artwork based on her! I might have to start creating pieces inspired by the rest of my family next. 💚

New stock just in!! ✨

I’m currently getting everything ready for my next market stall at Ashby Pride – my third stall ever! This time I’ve decided to push myself by introducing large posters and decorative postcards. These have been highly requested both on TikTok and at my previous two stalls, so I’m really excited to finally have them available.

A huge thank you, as always, to PRINT.WORK for their incredible service. They’re my go-to for all of my physical prints, and they always do an amazing job bringing my artwork to life. I can’t recommend them enough to fellow artists.

Another big thank you to my freelance marketing advisors, who have been working behind the scenes to help evolve my business. Together we designed these beautiful new business cards through VistaPrint UK, and I’m so happy with how everything is coming together.

‘Daughter of the Hunt’

I loved this comission, my client wanted to me to bring their character from their DnD campaign to life!!

Aisling, the character in the piece, is the daughter of the god of the hunt. She’s an elf with a large pair of stag antlers and faun-style legs. We wanted to empathise a more dark ancient forest and the campaign has very much placed her at that midpoint of dark, uncaring wilderness and the beauty of the natural world.

I loved how it all turned out, how I was able showcase both sides of nature. The beauty and the cruelty of it.

‘A quiet moment’

This is a third in a series of deer designs I’ve created. This one i used more vibrant and darker colour to create a more intricate scene.

I love how I got the light to reflect onto the water. Doing reflections and ripples on water is very hard in this art style but I’m slowly getting more confident with how i created it.

Recently I’ve been looking at how far I’ve come as an artist and how my artwork has been progressing. I’ve decided it was time that have a new logo that reflected my artwork but also the digital illustrator I am.

With some help and guidance I have been able to produce this new logo and with it some fancy new business card that will be arriving just in time for my pride stall!

A lot of new and exciting things are happening behind the scenes that will be revealed soon!!

Recently I watched the film The Sheep Detectives. I loved the movie and story it was telling but like most my favourite character had to be the winter lamb who later was given the name George.

So after looking at the copyrights of the film I was able to produce this artwork inspired by it. That was based of the scene but different. I added my own twist to the scene adding more of spring feeling for the winter lamb showing a contrast between the two.

‘Between Bloom And Water’ - A Comission

I i recently had joined a page for people looking for commissions. I decided to reply to post for someone looking for an art commission. I shared a little of my work, basic prices and next thing you know … they asking if I can do it!!

I loved turning taking their idea of axolotls … and making it into three. Having them play in the water. The water rippling while flowers from above drop down! It just came together so quickly and I loved every minute of it!!
