Think you've got what it takes?! ⚔️

STAGE WARS — The Starbrite Challenge is back for summer and it is going to be LOUD, chaotic and absolutely brilliant. 🎭

For anyone who doesn't know what Stage Wars is... let us explain.

Children arrive and are split into four rival teams — the Reds, Blues, Golds and Greens. From that moment on, it is WAR. 🔥

Seven rounds stand between them and the trophy:

📺 Audition Room — create a 30-second advert for a made-up product
🧊 Freeze Frame Frenzy — freeze into hilarious scenes on the buzzer
🏃 Sprint Stage — an outdoor performing arts assault course (yes, really!)
🎲 Mystery Envelope — draw a genre and a prop and create a 1-minute masterpiece
🎤 Lip Sync Battle — full staging, full drama, full commitment
🌿 The Grass Stage — take it outside for the BIG performance
🏆 The Grand Finale — 50 points up for grabs. Anything could happen.

Every child performs. Every child earns points. Every child goes home with a personalised role certificate. One team wins. 🥇

This is performing arts like you have never seen it before — and it is absolutely perfect for children who think performing arts isn't for them. Trust us on this one!

⭐️ STAR DANCERS ⭐️

Wow! Just wow! 🤩✨

This week our Star Dancers have been pushing themselves with rhythm exercises, and we couldn't be prouder of their focus, teamwork and determination! 👏🎶

One group took on one rhythm while the other performed a completely different rhythm at the same time – not an easy task, but they absolutely rose to the challenge! 💪🔥

Watching their musicality, confidence and understanding grow week after week is incredible.

Keep shining, Star Dancers – you're amazing! 💜

Our TREASURE TRAILS are something really special this summer — and there are THREE of them!

🏰 YORK TRAIL — Friday 24th July (new trail for 2026)
Cobbled streets, iconic Minster, two thousand years of history. Clues, drama challenges and team missions through one of England's most spectacular cities!

🏡 DRIFFIELD TRAIL — Friday 31st July (new trail for 2026)
Something mysterious is happening in Driffield... and only your team can solve it! Follow the clues through this gorgeous market town.

🏛️ BEVERLEY TRAIL — Friday 7th August (new trail for 2026)
The grand finale! Beverley's breathtaking Minster and cobbled streets are the setting for the biggest adventure of the summer.

Every trail includes clue-solving 🔍 performing arts challenges 🎭 and real team missions ⚡ — all supervised by our licensed chaperones throughout the day.

Children travel together from Starbrite Studios by public transport — part of the adventure from the moment they leave! 🚆

FLY HIGH — The Starbrite Acro Summer School is coming this July and we are SO excited about it!

Four days. Floor to the sky. Here's how the journey goes:

💪 Monday — Ground Work
Floor acrobatics, rolls, cartwheels and handstands. Building the foundations of everything.

🤝 Tuesday — Partner Work
Base and flyer introductions, partner balances and group shapes. The magic of acrobatics is working together!

🪢 Wednesday — Rise Up
Tumble track AND aerial silks. The moment everything starts to come together!

🌟 Thursday — Sky High
Refined sequences, more silks and a full group skills sharing session. Every child leaves with their Fly High certificate!

Inspired by The Greatest Showman. Craft sessions and film inspiration every day. The kind of week they will never forget!

Right, can we talk about this for a second?! 👑

Imagine your child spending FOUR DAYS creating a real live musical show — with singing, drama, dancing and making costume accessories — and then performing it to YOU on the Thursday afternoon.

That is exactly what SHOW IN A WEEK is. 🎭

This summer we are doing something completely different. SIX the Musical meets Horrible Histories — six queens, six stories, one incredible show. It's just as brilliant for boys as it is for girls. If your child loves Horrible Histories, this week was literally made for them! 😄

Every child gets a role. Every child performs. Every child goes home with a personalised certificate and memories they'll be talking about in September.
