Tomorrow we're giving this a go. Me and one of my mates, Gary Toward.

Two acoustic guitars. A PA. And Wild Pines.

We'll be playing from around 2pm and if anybody fancies joining us for a couple of songs, bring your guitar and we'll get you plugged in.

Or just come down, get yourself a drink and listen.

It's not supposed to be a big polished event. We just thought a spot of live music would be nice at Wild Pines and it would be even better if a few other local musicians got involved.

If people enjoy it, perhaps we'll do more of them.

From around 2pm on Saturday we'll have some live acoustic music at the park. I'll be playing with a friend of mine and anyone who fancies bringing a guitar along is welcome to see us and have a song as well.

If playing isn't your thing, that's absolutely fine too.

Come and have a coffee, pizza, sit for a bit and listen.

You don't have to be climbing to come into Wild Pines, so hopefully it'll make for a rather nice Saturday in the woods.

A few people have asked what we mean by joining us on Saturday.

It's deliberately very simple.

If you've got a guitar and one or two songs you fancy playing, bring it with you. We'll have the PA set up and we'll get you connected.

You don't need to arrive with a full set or pretend you're headlining Glastonbury.

I'll be playing with one of my mates and we're hoping a few other people might get up and have a go as well.
