🌦️ Fed up with the weather? So are Barley Bob and Patch! 🌦️

After weeks of dodging rain showers, muddy puddles and gusty winds, Barley Bob finally threw his straw hat on the ground and declared, "I've had enough!"

Patch, never one to miss an opportunity for mischief, wagged his tail and barked, "I have an idea?"

And just like that, the pair had their brilliant idea...

So if the weather has been testing your patience, come along and safely take it out on a few plates, cups and saucers. Whether you're aiming for a perfect smash or just fancy a good laugh, Barley Bob and Patch will be there cheering you on every step of the way.

🎉 WOW… what a fantastic day at the Market Harborough Carnival yesterday! 🎉

Safe to say Barley Bob and Patch are absolutely KNACKERED after all the waving, smiling, meeting everyone and soaking up the Carnival fun 🐾🌾

A huge THANK YOU to everybody who came out to say hello, wave at the duo and join in the celebrations ❤️

For today though, Bob and Patch are taking it easy with a well-earned lazy day full of naps, snacks and resting tired paws 🐶☀️

Barley Bob and Patch are officially on their way to the Market Harborough Carnival with all their Scarecrow friends in tow! 🚜🐾🌾

They’re dressed to impress, full of excitement, and READY to meet all of you lovely festival-goers ☀️🎩

Expect smiles, silliness, wagging tails and plenty of scarecrow fun throughout the day! Patch is already hoping for treats and fuss, while Bob is busy showing off his Carnival style 🎾🐶

🛁🐾 Barley Bob and Patch are officially getting Carnival-ready for the Market Harborough Carnival this Saturday, 6th June! 🎉

Patch is especially excited… and currently soaking in a mountain of bubbles while preparing for all the belly rubs he’s expecting from his adoring fans 🐶🫧

Meanwhile, Barley Bob is making sure his festival style is perfectly polished — after all, they both know they need to look their BEST for such a big Harborough tradition 🎩✨

This lovable duo can’t wait for all the laughter, fun and festivities… and they’re counting down the days until they can meet everyone!

🎡 As Barley Bob and Patch get ready to meet everyone at the Market Harborough Carnival next week, there was ONE very important stop Bob simply couldn’t walk past… 🍭

✨ FlossBox ✨

The moment Bob spotted the candy floss and festival hats, he just couldn’t resist treating himself to a brand new Carnival look 🎩☀️

And they will be at the Lubenham Scarecrow Festival this year with their stall packed with sugary goodness! 🍬

Poor Patch watched on hopefully… but Bob reminded him, “Sorry Patch, sugar isn’t good for dogs!” 🐶💭

Don’t worry though — Patch knows Bob’s pockets are NEVER empty… especially when they’re usually stuffed full of tasty meaty treats for his best furry friend 🦴❤️

Now Bob has a very important question…

Moments later Bob bursts with excitement…

🎉 “PATCH! We’ve been invited to the Market Harborough Carnival!” 🎉

Safe to say the scarecrow hat nearly flew off with excitement and Patch is already dreaming of treats, tummy rubs and tennis balls 🎾🐶

Patch has his eyes firmly set on the Tennis Ball Set this year 🎾 — nothing beats the thrill of chasing one across the Village Green in Lubenham after Bob gives it a mighty throw!

This year’s Lubenham Scarecrow Festival Tombola is bigger and better, with amazing local organisations joining in the fun, including:

✨ Hab-Antibullying & mental health
✨ Welland Park Academy Prom Committee
✨ Squires Effect

🌞🐾 Barley Bob & Patch have been out roaming the beautiful Leicestershire countryside!

From rolling green fields to sunny skies and countryside sounds, it’s safe to say Patch thinks the whole county is his giant playground! 🌾☀️🐶

With tails wagging, birds scattering, and adventures around every corner, these two are making the most of the great outdoors this Spring! 🚜🌼

And after a long day in the fields, there’s nothing quite like ending the day with a delicious coffee in the countryside… ☕✨

We’re excited to have Penny’s Vintage Bar joining us this year, bringing the flavour and that much-needed caffeine boost to keep you fuelled for all the fantastic activities on offer for the whole family! 🍰🚐

Barley Bob is already on his big adventure, making his way to the Lubenham Scarecrow Festival! 🌾

Taking a well-earned break from all the travelling, Bob and his new friend Patch are back to what they do best… SCARING BIRDS!! 🐦
“Shoo shoo!” says Bob, while Patch eagerly joins in with a “woof woof!” 🐶

With the spring sun shining and the village looking brighter than ever after Lubenham in Bloom, there’s no better time for a bit of good old-fashioned "shooing". Just look at those beautiful flowers—absolutely stunning! 🌸
