A fab day filming with BBC's The One Show (YES! THE ONE SHOW!) who are doing a feature on the inspirational Louis Moorhouse and his involvement in the 25th anniversary edition of our musical School Daze. A huge thank you to Thackley Primary School for hosting us - what a wonderful school and staff. And a complete joy to meet the fab-u-lous force of nature that is Danny Beard who is presenting the piece. 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐳𝐞, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐫𝟔 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 (𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭-𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫) 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲! It just goes to show that, although time moves on, some things never change. And it’s those things that are the subject of this hilarious, timeless production about the experiences and characters that we all remember from our primary school days: the unique teachers, Nits, SATs, embarrassing mums and dads, smelly classrooms, awkward parents’ evenings…and the longing to spread our wings, whilst knowing deep down that these are, quite possibly, the best days of our lives!
