🚨 DOUBLE VEHICLE ANNOUNCEMENT – LEOPARDS ON THE PROWL 🚨

One Leopard 1 wasn't enough...

So this year, we're getting TWO! 👏

We're delighted to announce that Midland Military Vehicles will be bringing not one, but two Leopard 1 main battle tanks to Operation Market Harborough this year.

Many of you will remember one of these vehicles arriving fresh from its transatlantic journey in time for last year's show. Since then, Christian and Joe clearly decided that one Leopard wasn't quite enough and have added a second vehicle to their growing collection.

The Leopard 1 became one of the most successful Cold War main battle tanks of its generation, serving with numerous nations around the world and earning a reputation for mobility, reliability, and unmistakable style.

And then there's the noise... 👀

Anyone who has heard a Leopard 1 running will know exactly what we're talking about. These machines sound absolutely incredible, and alongside the Gepard, they're going to make for an impressive display of Cold War armour throughout the weekend.

A huge thank you to Midland Military Vehicles for their continued support of the show. Seeing these two vehicles together is going to be something special.

🚨 VEHICLE ANNOUNCEMENT – BRITAIN'S COLD WAR GIANT 🚨

Joining us at Operation Market Harborough this year is the mighty Chieftain Mk.11 belonging to Richard Hunt 👏

For many years, the Chieftain formed the backbone of the British Army's armoured forces and remains one of the most iconic main battle tanks ever to wear British markings.

This particular vehicle served with BATUS in Canada, where generations of British tank crews honed their skills across the vast training areas of Alberta.

In fact, this won't be the only vehicle at the show with a connection to BATUS... but you'll have to wait a little longer to find out more about that 👀

As one of several Chieftains attending this year's event, it will help create an impressive display of Britain's Cold War armour and give visitors the chance to experience one of the Army's most legendary tanks up close.

Big, powerful, and unmistakably British — what's not to love?

🚨 VEHICLE ANNOUNCEMENT – WARSAW PACT POWER 🚨

Adding to our growing collection of Cold War armour is this incredibly rare 2K12 Kub mobile air defence system, attending courtesy of Armourgeddon Tank Driving Centre & Museum 👏

A Warsaw Pact icon, this impressive vehicle was designed to protect frontline forces from aerial attack and remains one of the most distinctive air defence vehicles ever built. With this and the Gepard the skies above our show ground are just that bit safer.

With very few surviving examples and possibly the last running vehicle of its type in the UK, this is a rare opportunity to see a remarkable piece of Cold War military history up close.

A huge thank you to Armourgeddon Tank Driving Centre & Museum for supporting the show and helping us bring yet another unusual and fascinating vehicle to Operation Market Harborough.

🚨 VEHICLE ANNOUNCEMENT – A RARE RETURN TO ACTION 🚨

Joining us for the very first time at Operation Market Harborough is the remarkable Churchill Crocodile from the Cobbaton Combat Collection in Devon 👏

Many of you may have followed its journey on Mr Hewes' YouTube channel, where viewers watched as the team worked tirelessly to coax this incredible machine back to life after spending many years as a museum exhibit.

Now after all that hard work and dedication, we're incredibly excited to announce that the Churchill Crocodile will be visiting Operation Market Harborough before returning home to Devon.

Even more excitingly, this will be one of the first opportunities for many people to see the vehicle running and driving again after its long period out of action.

The Churchill Crocodile remains one of the most iconic variants of the Churchill family, instantly recognisable and a fascinating piece of British military history.

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to the Cobbaton Combat Collection for supporting the show and allowing our visitors the chance to see this incredible vehicle up close and in motion.

We also kindly thank the Military Vehicle Trust for their donation towards the transport of this vehicle to our show.

🚨 BACK TO THE VEHICLES! 🚨

We've spent the last few weeks talking about all the ways we're improving your experience at Operation Market Harborough this year...

But let's be honest; you need more reasons to come to our show! 👀

We're delighted to announce that the Desert Warrior from The Tank Museum will be joining us for the very first time this year 👏

Not only will this impressive vehicle be appearing in our lineup, The Tank Museum team will also be attending with their Friends of The Tank Museum stand where you can meet some of the team, learn more about their vital work preserving armoured history and discover some of the exciting projects they have underway!

We're incredibly proud to be working alongside The Tank Museum at Operation Market Harborough and to welcome them to the event.

As for the Desert Warrior itself; armed with a 25mm bushmaster cannon and sporting modifications to distance itself from the warrior you’re thinking of, there’s a good chance it could be the youngest armoured fighting vehicle on site over the weekend and we can't wait to see what noise it can bring to the arena!

The response so far has been incredible, and we expect demand for these to be extremely high due to the limited numbers available each day.

This is a strictly limited package with only 60 VIP tickets per day, offering an enhanced way to experience the show; including early access, grandstand seating, special access areas and the chance to take part in some truly unique opportunities across the weekend. ⭐ INTRODUCING THE OPERATION MARKET HARBOROUGH VIP EXPERIENCE – NEW FOR 2026 ⭐

As Operation Market Harborough continues to grow, we’re always looking at ways to improve the experience for visitors whilst also helping support the future development of the show. Experiences such as this help us continue bringing in rare vehicles, special guests and unique attractions year after year, whilst also supporting organisations such as the Weald Foundation in their vital preservation and educational work surrounding historic military vehicles.

For 2026, we’re excited to officially launch our brand new VIP Experience Package — offering visitors an enhanced way to enjoy the show, along with some truly special opportunities that have never previously been available at OMH.

VIP packages will be strictly limited to just 60 tickets per day, helping us ensure the experience remains personal, relaxed and worthwhile for those attending.
So what’s included?
⭐ VIP parking within the showground for easier access and exit
⭐ Early show access — enter the show one hour before general admission for trader bargains, photography opportunities and a quieter atmosphere around the vehicles
⭐ 50% off the exclusive Jagdpanther 411 show print from Mick Graham Art
⭐ Access to an exclusive guided tour of Jagdpanther 411 hosted by members of the Weald Foundation alongside David Willey. These will be in two slots throughout the day to allow plenty of time!
