A snippet of the first Winter Gardens Summer Weekender! It was amazing to see so many people come together to enjoy the last of the summer vibes and meet the team behind the new Winter Gardens.

A big thank you to all the artists, musicians, performers and entertainers; and to everyone who came and made it so special.

It was so special meeting so many of our amazing local community, neighbours & local businesses yesterday ❤️

Margate has such a supportive crowd and we spoke to so many incredible people.

This was a wonderful moment, when two previous volunteers of the Winter Gardens were reunited with Paul, whom they used to work with for many years.

The ladies had tears in their eyes when Paul was going through the regeneration plans, and they spent time telling us their wonderful memories.

What was apparent yesterday was the amount of people who love and cherish this building, and we feel honored that we get to be a part of bringing it back to life ❤️

Our Summer Weekender rolls into a free family fun day on Sunday 23rd August from 11am on the Green off Fort Promenade. Coralie's Wonderverse, Family Yoga with Ruby, Regency Performing Arts, PMA, the Social Singing Choir and the Kentish Gents — plus craft workshops, a toys and books area and loads more for all ages.

All the entertainment is free, with pop-up bars and food stalls (plus inflatables via a paid wristband). See you there!

Saturday's line-up is here! Our first Summer Weekender kicks off on Saturday 22nd August from 12pm on the Green off Fort Promenade. Expect an all-day party with Jason Richardson, Tasty Sax and Josh Ward taking us from afternoon into the evening.

Pop-up bars, food stalls and one of the best sea views in Margate – plus entry and all the entertainment is completely free. Come soak up the summer sun with us.

The Summer Weekender is coming to the Green off Fort Promenade, right outside the Winter Gardens, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August. We've got two days of summer fun lined up with two very different vibes.

Saturday is an all-day party with DJs, sax, drinks and food stalls. It's the perfect spot to spend the day with friends soaking up the summer sun in Margate. On Sunday, it's a day for the whole family with performances, craft workshops, a toys and books area and inflatables (paid for).

The whole weekend is free and we'd love to see you there.
