Repost Tate Collective We got a peek behind the scenes at The Tracey Emin Artist Residency 🎹 

15 months of focused painting, critical thinking, and development alongside a cohort of emerging painters. 

The Tracey Emin Artist Residency (TEAR) is a free, studio-based programme in Margate led by Tracey Emin. Through set projects, group critiques and dedicated studio time, artists develop their practice before presenting their work in a three-month exhibition

It seems like no time at all since wrote Johnnie’s and Jack’s names on the wall. It’s a beautiful show beautifully curated by Tracey.

On Saturday we had to pleasure of a special performance by Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy for Johnnie Shand Kydd’s exhibition Ramsholt to TKE Studios in Margate.

Pavel and Samson created the most beautiful programme of music in response to Johnnie’s photography:

Jack Hirons is the first Tracey Emin Artist Fellow at TKE Studios and we are so proud of what he has produced over the last year in this role. His incredible exhibition ‘The Journey’ is in its last couple of weeks.
