Coco María
Saturday 17 October

Music has been a constant in Coco María's life since she was very little. Born in Mexico and now based in Amsterdam, she has turned her musical heritage into a vibrant, elegant force that carries Latin sounds to the most unexpected corners.

Her radio show on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM took her onto the international scene, and she hasn't stopped touring since: Dekmantel, We Out Here, ADE, Glastonbury and Rainbow Disco Club. Club Coco now runs every Monday on NTS, and since 2025 as a record label too.

United Friendship Disco presents.

Roman Flügel
Friday 4 December

"I enjoy the surprise. That's why it's difficult to describe what I do."

In 1993 Roman co-founded the labels Ongaku, Klang Elektronik and Playhouse, home to iconic records by Isolée, Ricardo Villalobos and LoSoul, and set a new cultural marker for European house and techno. Since then: hit records as Alter Ego and Holy Garage, the albums Fatty Folders, Happiness Is Happening and All The Right Noises on Dial, and remixes for Daniel Avery, Sven Väth and DJ Tennis.

Faith In Strangers x MUSAR, with Dweedo.

JIM
Friday 16 October

JIM is James Baron, also known as Ron Basejam and, of course, for Crazy P. His first JIM album, Love Makes Magic, came out on Vicious Charm in 2023. Labelled Balearic, folktronica, blue-eyed soul and Laurel Canyon, it was perhaps all and none of those things, and it was voted Album of the Year in Bill Brewster's Furtive 50.

The new record brings in Eddie Stevens (Moloko, Sia, Zero 7), Sleaford Mods' Jason Williamson and his daughter Edie Baron, and closes with Windmills, written for his late Crazy P comrade Danielle Moore.

JIM plays live.
