Canadian art-punk band, P**S have just announced their signing to Sub Pop with details of their debut album ‘you made me / skin on linen’ alongside the release of their debut single proper, ‘time loop at hot slit’.

Their international tour taking in everywhere from the lush plains of Dorset to the brisk climes of Iceland to the dusty terrain of North America and then ending at that most magical of rooms London’s MOTH Club starts right here with us TOMORROW IN MARGATE.

It’s going to be one of those rare “I was there when..” live musical experiences in a grassroots space and your ticket is waiting for you in all of the usual spots.

Sheherazaad is an American composer and theatre artist, whose cinematic blend of dystopic folk-noir, experimental pop, and South Asian musical sensibilities has established her as one of the most distinctive new voices in contemporary music.

Raised in California in a second-generation immigrant household and now dividing her time between India and Brooklyn, her richly poetic songwriting explores broken tongues, and unbelonging through immersive, genre-defying soundscapes.

Bity Booker is an alternative folk musician and visual artist, lover of nature, animals and folklore.

She writes and sings gorgeous, wistful songs channelling a lyrical folk tradition. She recently released her new album ‘There’s No Song About a Stone’, entirely recorded at home on tape.

🌬️A big breezy coastal blast of fresh noise sweeps in across the coast as test plan & love songs with distortion head to Margate in September.

Test Plan are looking for the sweet spot between dancing and moshing. Winds of overloaded guitar feedback and distortion are punctuated by crunching drums and throbbing bass, all bound together by howls of angst and chaotic energy. Their dynamic live performances beckon a meeting point where volume and energy collide - intense, visceral, and unfiltered, hitting like a punch in the gut: sweat-soaked, teeth-rattling,

Ceremony East Coast, or short CEC, love relentless live shows and releases: Drone bass lines, white-noise guitars, savage drums and intense vocals. Nothing polished, highs and lows. The two of them insist on keeping their sound unapologetically human.

Spearheaded by midlands-born, Brighton-based poet,
painter, filmmaker, baker, musician Jamie Broughton (rhymes with ‘thought’-un) - who writes and records everything for their frenzied, 8-strong line-up at his home ‘Boudoir’ studios.

If there’s a song to sing, they’ll sing it. If a gig gets cancelled last minute, through no fault of their own, they’ll lug a drumkit and a PA down Camden high street and find somewhere else
instead. Because the show must go on!

With radio backing this year from Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq, Deb Grant, Emily Pilbeam, Glies Peterson, Amy Lamé (BBC Radio 6Music) and John Kennedy (Radio X),
as well as press support from the likes of UNCUT, Electronic Sound, Rough Trade, Notion, Far Out, and So Young, big long sun are wasting no time in charging on ahead.
