🌿🌸Thursday 15th Feb we have amazing model Nasim posing for us. We’ll be taking inspiration from visionary director Alex Garland’s 2018 sci fi film Annihilation. 🌿🌸

🌿🫧Expect nature inspired props, a suitably ethereal playlist and our take on the ‘Shimmer’ to help add an interesting element to everyone’s drawings. We’re super excited for this class - it’s definitely one not to be missed! 🫧🌿

⭐️ Don’t worry if you’ve never done a life drawing class before - we are beginner friendly and also welcome more experienced artists.
The class is untutored to help enable a non pressured and relaxing space to draw but if you would like any pointers then feel free to ask and I’m happy to help where I can. ⭐️

Last night’s class did not disappoint as our final class of the year! Our brilliant model Josh’s poses gave Leo Dicaprio a run for his money. The cane and champagne props added an extra element to the drawings that were fun and playful to capture and the fizz (although prosecco) along with the jazz inspired playlist definitely helped the drawings flow.

Thanks so much to everyone that came and everyone that has come along to a class this year!

Hi All!

This week is our last session of the year and we’ll be sending out the year in 1920’s style by taking inspiration from Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 film The Great Gatsby. ✨ ✨

We have the excellent model Josh striking some suitably suave poses for us, a 1920’s jazz inspired playlist to set the mood and there will even be a glass of fizz to help those drawings flow. 🍾

Beginners and more experienced artists are all welcome.
It is byob too if you so wish and materials are provided.

What a wonderfully charming evening yesterday! Our model Aimee brought the spirit of Amélie alive with her poses and use of props. The Yann Tierson tracks really set the Parisian vibes- it was super relaxing to draw to!

Hi All,

Join us this week as we take inspiration from the French classic - Amelie. A film described as one of the most stylish films ever made - it’s a beautifully imaginative film about a woman who finds joy in helping others.

We have the brilliant model Aimee posing for us and we’ll have a playlist inspired by the film to help us create some drawing magic!

Don’t forget it’s bring your own booze if you so wish.

Basic materials are provided and beginners and more experienced artists are all welcome!

We only have a couple more sessions this year before we break for the holiday season so book a space to get your drawing fixes in before the year is out!

Hi All,

This week we’ll be taking inspiration from 2003’s Girl With A Pearl Earring starring Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth.

The Johannes Vermeer painting the film is based on is an absolutely iconic image that showed Vermeer’s expertise in the use of light. It communicates the power of the individual and the nuance of perception. We have the fabulous model JulieAnn posing for us and we’ll have a gloriously warm light to light our model along with a chilled playlist inspired by the film to help us both reimagine and encapsulate the spirit of this classic image.

I’m super excited for this week’s class, hope you can join us!

This week we are taking inspiration from Pedro Almodovar’s 2006 film Volver. A film characterised by it’s rich use of red’s and strong female characters. We have the fabulous model Rose posing for us and some Estrella Morente on the playlist- it might just feel like we’ve been transported to Spain for a moment!
