The sun can give fabulous reflections of our work here in Marazion Gallery, with glass it’s when the sun shines through the glass and reflects the colour to a wall,or a more solid item the shadow reflects off a surface.

Reflections…
This week our gallery artists are thinking about the theme of ‘reflections’ in their work, and first up is .
Many of Lucie’s photographs are of huge cloudscapes reflected in the wet sand, and she likes nothing better than standing on the beach in all weather, watching the reflections changing. She also photographs abstract reflections of brightly coloured fishing boats in our local harbours.

Serena Gwynn is posting for our current theme of taking a look at things close up and seeing the detail.

‘Even if a piece of work hasn’t turned out quite the way I wanted, Raku glazes are always rewarding if you take a closer look. Checking out the all the random marks, colours and crazing is always exciting!’

All our artists at Marazion Gallery are super talented so, if you are nearby, do pop in and give our gallery a close up inspection!

The theme for this week is ‘Artist’s Own favourites’ - I am really enjoying working with brass at the moment - it’s warm and vibrant for this time of year I think…
Our little gallery is open every day except Saturday at the moment and is full of lovely locally made gifts 🎁!
