Let's talk about the 6th June!

A genuinely tough decision between seeing boyzone for the final time after nearly 30 years of never missing a show or heading to ibiza with a date that 9 busy amazing incredible women agreed upon 18 months earlier.

These are my NCT mom friends who have been there for the last 12 years of parenting ups and down. I couldnt let them down.

Then I found out Lovely Laura🎷 who I LOVE was playing at 528 the very same night. I rejected all the other club suggestions and acts and maybe stamped my feet a little bit to get what I wanted 🫣🤭

Everyone was like yes ok she is amazing and we had the best time - I may have cried slightly! Just pure emotion. And then at the end of the set Lisa pushed me forward to talk to herself! OMG absolutely amazing. And I love the picture of pure shock (I think!?🤭🫣🤣) when I told her Id missed boyzone for her.

All in all first time in Ibiza was incredible with some HUGE bucket list moments. Its definitely not going to be a once in a lifetime trip!

Well its no secret i love having a bit of fun when volunteering! So much fun at our event today. From selling and making the tshirts through MMMGifts and the help of and to blowing up one balloon! and throwing paint. Working with the amazing team who sponsors our events.

So if you want to do some FUNdraising I definitely have some ideas and products up my sleeve to help you out.

Well, I didn’t win… but I’m still winning....

Of course, it would have been lovely to hear my name called at the … but honestly, if I was going to lose out to anyone, I’m so glad it was to Sarah and Kieran at Actifire Limited .

They are some of the hardest-working, knowledgeable, genuinely lovely people you could meet, and it’s an absolute joy to see them recognised. A very well-deserved win.

A big thank you to the Mansfield and Ashfield Business Network for building such a supportive, welcoming community and for putting on such a brilliant event.

No trophy this time… but a room full of brilliant people, real support, and a reminder of how far I’ve come.

I’ll take that as a win.
