Toussaint Douglass brought Accessible Pigeon Material to OneFest - life, love, loss, finding your way and, yes, quite a lot of pigeons. 🐦

Afterwards, we grabbed him for a quick chat about the show, the festival and why spaces like OneFest matter. 🩷

Safe to say, he had a bloody good time.

And no, we didn’t pay him to say nice things about us. 😉

“One of the most moving things I’ve seen in a long, long time.”

Not a bad review, that.

Sam Browne’s The Manosphere and Other Fun Shapes came to OneFest with a little bit of sad, a little bit of funny and a whole lot of poetry.

The kind of show you go into not knowing quite what to expect - and come out still thinking about it afterwards.

That’s the good stuff.

OneFest in photos because, apparently, “you had to be there” isn’t a very effective marketing strategy...

Brilliant artists. Packed rooms. Big performances. Weird little moments. A healthy amount of chaos.

All in Mansfield. All OneFest.

And yes, we’re doing it all again in 2027.

Imagine chasing a show around London, Edinburgh and the rest of the UK… only to finally catch it in Mansfield.

That’s exactly what happened to Sh*t Theatre, who managed to see two shows here they’d been trying to catch around the country.

And that’s what we want OneFest to be.

Brilliant work, in small venues, with audiences who bring something completely different to the room.

Their verdict on performing here?

“Chaotic and magical.” ✨

We’ll take that.

Turns out putting on an arts festival teaches you a few things...

Most importantly, we learned we should probably do the whole thing again.

So we are.

See you in 2027. ✨ 😏
