MEET THE MAKER 💛

Welcome to Love Burt Handcrafted!
I thought it was about time to introduce myself properly to our new followers...
so here goes!!

Hi, I'm Clare, a 49 year old Mum of 2 boys aged 21 & 17, and we live in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with my partner, Rich.
I've always been a creative soul right back to middle school, where I'd draw colourful pictures and patterns in all my school books!
The majority of my adult life has been in forward facing retail management roles, and more recently, I have moved into finance administration.
I have always taken great pride in delivering fantastic service and, in turn, received great results.
During the pandemic, retail was TOUGH, and I became scared and anxious for the 1st time in my life.. (along with lots of other people), and I needed something else to focus on and calm me down.
So I began creating.. and on Sept 1st, 2020, I launched Love Burt Handcrafted Frames and Prints.
It was the most daunting and exciting thing I'd ever done..
The 1st Christmas went well, but I was yet to find my own style.
I started to veer away from any painting projects and stuck to designing prints, which sat better with me..
Then I discovered my signature swirl, and things really took off!
Later, I introduced the option of a smaller box frame, which was just as lovely but gave my customers a different price option.
My confidence has grown so much after almost 6 years of Love Burt.
I love standing at local events, as I miss that face to face interaction that my retail years gave me.
I feel my products are constantly evolving, & I have definitely found my own style.
I know more and trust myself more, and that's what it's all about!
When designing my beautiful, heartfelt frames and cards, I put part of who I am into each piece.
I hope you feel like you know me a little better now and although our CEO Burt, aka my best mate, is the poster boy for Love Burt, it is me behind the scenes, working hard to turn my dreams & aspirations into reality.

Remembering our CEO 🐾🐾

We could definitely see Burt's potential when we 1st met him at only 5 wks old..

Over the years, he quickly progressed up the ranks from Junior Pawject Manager to Furnancial Advisor and then on to Barketing Manager and head of Puplick Relations..

In his 6th year, he was crowned CEO of Love Burt Handcrafted.
What a career path!!

Since losing him at the end of January, it's been really hard.
Like the joy has gone out of each day..

The whole family went for a walk around our local woods yesterday evening (Burts favourite place), just to remember and to talk about our favourite memories of him.

There's no such thing as " just a dog"
He taught us so much in his nearly 12 years but mainly unconditional love ❤️
Never forgotten Burty boy 🐾🐾
