To complete the cast of our January 2027 Pantomime “Puss in Boots” we come to the last but by no means least of our performers, our comedy duo David Gell and Brandon Stafford
David and Brandon’s comedic timing as a double act and their rapport with the audience has entertained and lifted the spirits of the many tens of thousands that have supported the group over the years
David will be playing the part of Frankie, and for all those who follow the Westfield Folkhouse Pantomime he has performed on stage for the Folkhouse for over 45 years. Longer than any other performer for the group to date and is a consummate performer, giving rock solid performances and using his experience and skills to get the very best out of his character. He has also had the great fortune to have performed over the years with some of the great characters, actors and actresses who will always be remembered in Folkhouse history.
Brandon will be playing the part of Benny, his hapless partner and has played opposite David for many years entertaining the audiences with quickfire jokes, slapstick and comedy sketches.
Brandon also directs the pantomime and along with David and the other committee members spend their time creating the next Folkhouse Pantomime immediately after the last one, which they always try to make the best possible show they can. With professional scenery, sparkling costumes and local talented youngsters giving Mansfield a Family Pantomime where children of whatever age, Mums, Dads, Grandmas Grandads can all enjoy the time together laughing and booing and getting lost in the magical world of pantomime, at a price that enables as many people to be able to attend as possible.
