Couple of updates regarding our new stage show 'Newley - The Storyteller' We're off to the USA in just four weeks for further meetings with lots of promotional material, script, arrangements, publicity samples, photos & showreel. Initially when we were putting the show together it was purely going to be an intimate Newley night with Brad as Tony and several musicians... As time moves on the show has become much more ambitious! Our American associates want a full band on stage! Much more work! We've just had full orchestrations completed of a few Tony songs so far - the score is amazing! How exciting! We've had to delegate and get more musical arrangers involved as there's just not enough time for us to do it all ourselves! Oh, the expense! 😱 But it's worth it! Secondly, we are pleased to announce artist Mal Earl has granted us his kind permission & blessing to use his art work of this caricature of Tony for future publicity. It absolutely encapsulates the genius of the man, it's iconic, quirky... and yet so beautiful! Get used to this wonderful piece of artwork you are going to see a lot of it! Mal did this Newley art work a decade ago. He's found the last of the originals and guess what ... He told us, it's got our name on it! On our way to us as we speak! It will be framed and hung on our wall of fame! 🤩
One more thing... Yet, another completely different exciting Newley project for us on the horizon! Another collaboration with someone that has the same passion as us! (Dear Mr Newley, everyone's talking about you! These are truly exciting times! 💞)
