Maybe you’ve always wished for a spectacle that’s never been done before — something fun, bold, or totally unexpected.

More action from the fields for . 🚜

The combines are rolling, the irrigation is running, and our farmers are working around the clock to keep crops healthy and harvest moving.

These moments happen quietly every day — but they’re the backbone of our food system. A brilliant snapshot of farming in motion.

Fresh from the field and lifted on the Thursday before the Show: Maris Bard potatoes for our Members’ lunch. 🥔🚜😋

It’s always a special moment watching local produce being harvested just days before it’s enjoyed — a real celebration of the hard work, skill and dedication that goes into farming across Tendring.

This behind‑the‑scenes glimpse is also part of , shining a light on the people, crops and daily effort that keep our food system moving. Proud to play our part.

A week on from the show, we’re delighted to be supporting The Big Hike for Cancer Research UK by loaning the showground and car park as the start and finish point for the Suffolk/Essex Hike tomorrow – Saturday 18 July 2026.

The first wave of walkers and runners will be setting off at 6.45am, with activity beginning from 6.00am. We will ensure noise is kept to a minimum, and we hope that—given the importance of the cause—any early morning disruption will not cause issues for our neighbours or the surrounding area.

Please do give a wave or some encouragement to those taking part if you see them passing through. Your support means a great deal to everyone involved.

Dismantling the Show is like the Christmas decorations: it’s so much quicker to take it all down!

Lots more still to do, but what a difference from the bustle of Saturday!

Thank you to our hardworking Show Site team for everything you do.
