We meet once a month for a leisurely bike ride around the lanes of south Manchester / Cheshire of around 35 miles, taking in a pub lunch, enjoying the scenery and general chat. e Wanderers are for you. We meet on the second Sunday of the month in Chorlton Water Park car park, off Maitland Road, at 10am, returning at around 4pm. You don’t need any paperwork or formality. You just need to turn up with a road worthy bicycle, a puncture repair kit and (given the Manchester weather) a water proof. Children over 15 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Given the mileage, younger children can join if on trailer bikes or baby seats. So if you are looking for an enjoyable day out, come and join us on our Wanderings. The Chorlton Wanderers rides replace the Dawdling Doctors rides that were run by the Bicycle Doctor shop in Rusholme.
