Royal Exchange Theatre

Royal Exchange Theatre WINNER - Regional Theatre of the Year 2016. Housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, step inside and get involved. The unique design means that none of the 760 seats are more than nine metres from the circular stage, with seats placed all around the auditorium, giving views from all angles.

The Great Hall surrounds the Theatre, and this houses The Round restaurant, Bar Exchange, the Craft Shop and exhibitions, the Education Lounge and workshops, the Information Point, the Mezzanine Gallery exhibitions, as well as Friday evenings' FREE entertainment SPECIAL FX. And we're open on a Sunday too! With brunch served in our Great Hall cafe and free entertainment during the day.

It is safe to say imaginations were sparked and hearts filled watching these wondrous productions right here in our city. 🎭 Life outside the classroom: Last week the U4, L5 and lower sixth drama and theatre students watched the magical musical ‘ Beauty and The Beast’ at Palace Theatre & Opera House Manchester. This week we broadened our cultural exploration of Manchester theatre by watching an adaptation of Emily Brontes classic ‘Wuthering Heights’. 🤩 The autumn term will begin as we mean to carry on with ‘The Glass Menagerie’ at Royal Exchange Theatre 👏🏼 . #BeBedian #BeInspired #BeCommitted #BeGrateful #Musical #Theatre #manchester #College #Beautyandthebeast #DramaClass #EmilyBrontes #WutheringHeights
