The Queen of Salsa 👑

Celia Cruz’s unmistakable voice, magnetic stage presence and legendary “¡Azúcar!” made her one of the most iconic figures in Latin music.

Born in Havana, she became a global ambassador for Cuban music and one of the defining voices of salsa, inspiring generations of artists with her powerful vocals, charisma and infectious energy.

We’re celebrating the iconic sound of Celia and the women who have shaped Latin music on 3 September, as Salsa de Cuba presents A Tribute to Latin Divas, honouring legendary artists including La Lupe, Selena, Yolandita Rivera, Karol G and more.

Ali Farka Touré's groundbreaking blend of traditional Malian music and blues inspired generations of musicians, helping to define the sound of desert blues.

Twenty years after his passing, his former bandmate and protégé Samba Touré continues to carry that sound forward, honouring his mentor while forging his own acclaimed path in Malian music.

We celebrate the master of desert blues on 17 September, as Samba Touré brings his heartfelt tribute to our stage, performing beloved classics and lesser-known gems from Ali's catalogue.
