On 20th October, Spider-Man of Tameside will be swapping his web-slinging for walking boots as I take on a walk from Manchester to Bolton to raise money for BBC Children in Need! 🥾🕷️

It might not be the biggest distance in the world… but when you’re walking it as Spider-Man, every single step counts! 💪🕸️

Most importantly, every donation and share can help make a real difference to children and young people who need support.

Off to support a local community event today 😊 see you there

A POPULAR community event is returning to Hyde this weekend following the success of its launch earlier this year.

The Community Day will take place at Hyde Market Hall on Saturday, October 3, from 11am until 3pm, with a programme of free family entertainment.

Among the attractions will be the chance to meet R2-D2, while a Planet of the Apes gorilla will also be making an appearance.
