Hello, all!!

As many of you will have seen, we lost a three-time PAP Cast Member, Chris Robinson, recently. Chris played ‘Hertz’ in ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘Judge Turpin’ in ‘Sweeney Todd’ and ‘Fake Ronald Reagan’, ‘Mookie’ and was part of the ensemble in ‘The Wedding Singer’. Chris tragically passed away last month.

In memory of Chris, Rochdale Musical Theatre Company have passed on the following:

Tickets are now on sale for Rochdale Musical Theatre Company’s Christmas Charity Night, which will take place on Thursday 8th December (7.30pm, arrival from 7pm) at an incredible new Rochdale venue Mill About

Hosted by the amazing M.T Entertainment the event will include live music from the talented Pub Lunch ; Zac McIntyre and Terry Banham, festive fun and games, food and Band-e-oke with Dan Fielden and his band! (Message us for a song list if you’d like to sing with them!)

The event is open to everyone and will raise money for Rochdale and District Mind in memory our friend and fellow thespian Chris Robinson We really hope to see lots of familiar faces from other societies, as well as current and past members and supporters.

We are all saddened to learn of the passing of our friend and cast member, Chris Robinson. Chris was such a huge part of our PAP family and will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Some of our previous cast members (Nick - ‘Rent’, ‘Little Shop’, ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘Sweeney Todd’ and Wedding Singer’; Heather - ‘Rent’; Selina - ‘Wedding Singer’) and our Director are currently getting ready to bring this unusual one act rock opera to the stage at The Forum Theatre in Romiley in two weeks time.

It’s a really powerful, dark piece of theatre that isn’t seen on stage often - this is the first time it has been performed in the North! Four amazing performances, a 90’s style rock score and a story that could be your next door neighbour.

If you are free on any of the three nights, it’d be great to see you…we assure you you won’t be disappointed!!
