Love HOME? HOME is a place for curiosity seekers, for lovers of the dramatic, the digital and the deeply engaging, for radicals and reciprocators, in the heart of Manchester. Our two theatres are a playful platform for new, commissioned work. Our five cinema screens light up with challenging, independent, provoking films. The gallery space

is home to the very best in contemporary art. HOME is for everyone. We like to think of it as a place where you can engage with other arts lovers through our exciting and inspiring events. That goes for our page, too. Here, we’ll be sharing images, videos and other updates from our theatres, exhibitions, cinemas, events, bookshop, bar and restaurant. We’d love to hear from you about how we’re doing, so please post any questions or comments to our wall.

This week, we're showcasing a range of spectacular stories on our screens!

This Fri and Sat we're hosting an (almost sold out) specially curated and vibrant film programme for two-day global arts festival, Horizons Festival! The films have been selected by a panel whose own lives have been impacted by migration. Next Tue we invite you to blast off on an inter-gay-lactic mission with Le***an Space Princess, as part of a special preview event. Finally, next Wed you have the unique opportunity to catch Rozpad - our Letterboxd pick of the week - the first feature film about the Chornobyl disaster.

A new artwork installation by Urunwa: No rest in the Hive can be seen at outside the front of HOME 🤩

It is commissioned for the 2026 Horizons Festival Programme by HOME and Community Arts North West as part of a series of artist commissions created to support Manchester-based artists with lived experience of displacement to make new work.

The art installation reflects on migration as an act shaped by sacrifice, endurance, and responsibility.

Urunwa: No Rest in the Hive is running outside the front of HOME from Mon 8 Jun - Sun 19 Jul.
