Low Four is a home for new music; a live-streaming music TV platform, recording studio, music venue

Low Four is an online music TV platform, recording studio, venue and Cloudwater bar on Deansgate Mews at the Great Northern Warehouse. Relaunching in September 2021, we produce high quality, live-streamed and pre-recorded content to spotlight Manchester, supporting its international reputation for music and culture, showcasing exceptional emerging local talent alongside already established acts pa

ssing through the city. We also make records and host live music shows organised by external promoters. Our Cloudwater bar will be pouring at all our events and open for casual drinking every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening when there are no shows programmed.

NEW | This year’s manchester jazz festival is entering its final weekend of music, and we are sharing some of their programme highlights through a series of very special recordings.

Performing tonight (Friday) 8pm at Stoller Hall is pianist Simeon Walker. The Leeds based composer creates immersive, emotionally resonant music that moves between contemporary classical, ambient and post-rock.

Performing tomorrow (Friday) 8pm at Stoller Hall is saxophonist, and composers ANDY SCOTT & CARMEL SMICKERSGILL. Together they explore the warmth and depth of acoustic instruments within this electronically infused context, whilst pushing the sonic possibilities of technology.

NEW | This year’s manchester jazz festival kicked off yesterday, and over the next week we’ll be sharing some of their programme highlights through a series of very special recordings.

Performing tomorrow (Sunday) at 1pm on the First Main Stage is Ghanaian-English guitarist, composer and producer RORY A. GREEN. Inspired by his mixed-heritage background, Rory combines the sensitivity of acoustic instruments with infectious rhythms to create richly layered, atmospheric music.
