Our first round of festival offers have been sent out. Thank you to every group that submitted and thank you also for your patience as we had twice as many applications as last year to sort through! We've managed to find space for more shows than last year but still can't accept everyone as much we'd like to. We have tried to strike a balance between local talent and visiting shows, representing a broad variety of styles and forms. If you have been offered a space please do not post publicly until we are ready to announce the full line up. If you've not yet heard from us please wait as we may release a second round of offers in the coming weeks.

We got nearly 40 applications for this year's GMIF so give us a little bit of time to go through everything and arrange the programme :)

Show applications are now closed for this year's Greater Manchester Improv Festival. We have a lot of applications to look through from local talent to visiting shows. Now we have to take the jigsaw pieces and make them fit... We'll get offers together as soon as we can!

The Greater Manchester Improv Festival returns 5th-7th June 2026! Three days of shows, workshops and laughter at The Kings Arms, Salford, showcasing some of the best in improv comedy and theatre from Greater Manchester AND BEYOND...
