What we are witnessing today with Iran is not history repeating itself but the continuation of a US project to totally Dominate the region colonial powers call the Middle East and the same tactics and lies are being used to fabricate consent for the military invasions of Iraq, because it was invaded many times, for now invading Iran, also not for the first time
Notice how weak the excuses for failing the inspections are and how unreasonable the demands for compliance are and tell me what else if not racism and Islamophobia and some other really internalised white supremacist idea makes you believe the same lies over and over again to support these countries being bombed and destroyed over and over again and please spare me the excuse of human rights, we are at a higher level of conversation here, if you cannot step up, sit down and think of something better than democracy and freedom through bombs that is just and excuse for bringing chaos to dominate and extract resources.

if you had wanted change, you would have fought for it a long time a go, we would have seen you at the town hall, protecting mothers seeking respite from domestic violence, helping out trans kids have the care and recognition every person deserves, we would have seen you demanding that empty houses become social housing, you would have stopped the gentrification of your areas. Ethnic cleansing of neighborhoods is happening in the UK, families being pushed out, children who know hunger and pain being sent to live in a B&B hours away from their friends, relatives and school and you distract yourselves from the nightmare you have created in any way possible, thinking I am OK, I wave a flag.

Open your eyes and hearts to the pain around you and then do what needs to be done for real with the people around you.

Living life surrounded by people who ignore or actively support this is really a surreal experience. Think you just voted a war criminal as prime minister in the UK because that was your democracy giving you only war criminals as a choice ... realistically there was no option that allowed this country to be electing somebody who did not support a genocide. And yes the occupation soldiers spend their time walking around decomposed bodies of mostly women and children they have killed...think about that... if you cannot relate to the dead, maybe you can relate to those that have killed them..
I would rather be dismembered than be the one witnessing the destruction I caused to human and all life around me, I would rather be gone from all existence. I would rather not be than being death for others and the world around me.
