APF FEST SPOTLIGHT
Introducing the first round of acts for this year’s edition of APF Festival, The Sound of Heavy brought to you by APF Records, Rebellion and Uprising Promotions for an all-day extravaganza. This second edition is bigger and better than ever, displaying some of APF’s top catalogue of bands, all in one room.
This transitions us smoothly into the first band of the day, Praetarian. Hailing from The Shire, these guys put the grim down South (nevermind up North).
Since their formation in 2015, the quartet has perfected a ruthless blend of sludge metal, doom-laden heaviness, and noise-rock, creating a sonic onslaught that melts faces and rattles bones.

Trevors Head: Three friends raised in the bu****le of the commuter belt; who reflected on their boredom in riffs and rejected the norms that surrounded them. Think Stoner, Psych, Punk and Prog all merged into one.

A return to music & Manchester comes with Nxmad, first appearing back in 2012. Their return has been critically acclaimed, receiving great praise across the Metal journalism sphere. Hardcore Sludge all round.
