What a time it's been! Our new show MLB's The Doug Out has officially launched on YouTube and what a reaction, I'm floored! I have loved every step of this production and I'm so incredibly proud to be Producer+ Art Director.

I'm going to be posting more about The Doug Out soon, but for now this is the brilliant behind the scenes feature that explains what The Doug Out is all about.

Opening Day, but make it stop-motion ⚾️
Creator & Director Adam Reid () steps up to the plate with “The Doug Out!”, a brand new series for MLB Clubhouse on YouTube. Made in collaboration with and the legendary , this one’s a love letter to old-school, handcrafted animation.

Take a peek behind the scenes with Adam, Producer + Art Director , and the team as they bring DOUG and SCOUT to life, frame by frame. From meticulous builds to a new “Speak Easy” face animation system, it’s all about blending tactile charm with modern speed.

Come for the time-lapses, stay for the baseball metaphors. Big swings were definitely taken!

This stunning short film “Glad I Met You,” was created by MAL Shanghai, was shot entirely on iPhones. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on the costumes and soft props for this beautiful advert. I created the miniature versions of her bag and did one of my favourite miniature crafts...hand micro knitted to create her cosy orange scarf. I used thread instead of traditional wool and piano wire as knitting needles.

not only crafted all of the incredible puppets, but also filmed it in their own studio. "Glad I Met You" has won the inaugural ONE Asia Chinese New Year Award from .

Sadly I don't think these tiny quesadillas would fill you up if you are..scroll to see just how tiny they are arrow➡️

I LOVE making miniature food and during my time working on I was lucky enough to make lots.

The Tiny Chef crew are all such wonderful people to work with, especially the main man himself TC! It is definitely up there with my all time favourite productions.

I haven't posted in a while and looking back at my account I realised I've never posted about my day job as a Stop Motion Prop maker and artist.

I love my job and have been very fortunate to have been working in the Stop Motion industry for nearly 14 years now and I would love to start sharing things I have made over my career.

This was a pilots hat I made whilst working on at the wonderful which is the company I have been lucky enough to have spent most of career working at.

The characters on Postman all have quite large heads which made the pattern making for this prop a little tricky, but it was such a fun prop to make.

I've been working on something very close to my heart recently and wanted to share it! I'm a massive fan of and I was inspired by Cheffy's really life stump home and decided to make a miniature stump myself. I've got loads of videos and pictures showing my making process I can't wait to share.
What do you guys think?

Ello! I was obsessed with the Jim Henson's Labyrinth movie when I was a kid and it is literally the movie that made me want to work in the career I do now (even if I do work in stop-motion rather than animatronic puppet making which was my first dream job!)

I have wanted my own Ello Worm from that movie for years and finally I have made my own version inspired by the movie.

I have made a couple more so if you would like one of your own, head to my Etsy page *link in bio*

This hopefully shows the size of my sculpt better as it is truly is a tiny stump home! It's only 11cm high, I bet Cheffy would even feel big next to it, but it might make a comfy seat for him. What do you guys think?

I'm working on an order for my Up! house today, I am using my dremel lite to hollow out the chimney so I can add the balloons at a later stage. I make all my dioramas from scratch by hand and then make a mould and cast then in resin ready for adding final detail and paint. I love the process and feel it makes for a stronger end piece. I have a link to my Etsy page in my bio if you would like to have a look at my shop.
