‘Champagne Casanova’ will premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe this year before going on tour. In the new show, Finlay misguidedly believes that the women mugging him fancied him, that being a f*ckboy is cool and that Kim Jong Un would love him. Funny, self-aware and internet-brained, this is an hour about the strange myths constructed by incels, convinced the world owes them romance, to billionaires who believe they’re innovators, and everyone in between, that means we don’t have to admit we’re ordinary, rejected or wrong. Young guys will believe almost anything if it protects their ego, and Finlay is no exception. There is also a strong section on air fryers.

He has opened for Micky Flanagan on tour and has performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal as well as in Paris, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Prague and Stockholm for the Comedy Store. He has also appeared as an actor in The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff (BBC2) with Stephen Fry and Waybuloo (CBeebies).
Finlay loves language, studying French and Mandarin Chinese at university. He is fluent in French and performed French stand-up comedy in Lyon for 6 months.
