The photos people send me vs the pet portrait jacket they get back 👩🏼‍🎨🐶

Custom portrait jackets are back in stock, but I’ve only got a very limited number that can be despatched before Christmas! Please don’t leave it too late as I’m shutting off orders quite early this year.

Also this was unintentionally all dogs again!! Sorry cats! If someone would like to order a cute cat jacket, I haven’t done one in a while and then I can get some good content 🐈‍⬛🐈

Shoes are one of my favourite things to paint on but tell me why I have to be such a night owl and only ever get minimal content during good natural light 🙃

Christmas 2026, the year I prioritise my mental health and don’t run myself into the gutter. Somone plz hold me accountable so I make it to Jan ‘27.

I have a LOT going on this year, I’m overwhelmed even thinking about it. So I will be taking way less custom orders than usual and sacrificing a huge chunk of my annual income 🙃 I do have a couple of markets planned too in Manchester & London if you want something non-custom or a pet portrait tote bag!

Usually I close my orders when I’ve reached my capacity around the end of October/November. This year I will be taking on smaller amounts of orders and not opening again until these are complete.

My website is open at the moment and I will have a limited number adult jackets available again this week, my mailing list will be the first to know when they’re listed. I’ll also be offering a 15% discount for any custom orders placed now that are willing to wait until Jan ‘27 for despatch.

Poppy died 4 years ago yesterday, this is everything I wish I could tell her that she’s missed in the last 4 years!

If you didn’t know Poppy (gutted for you) she was just the most fun little terrier girl ever, enjoyed life so much, faked cancer, put up with Lara’s BS and aged into a feral little raccoon.

As much as I miss her I also had 17.5 happy and healthy years with her, so I’m very grateful cos we really did have a hoot. I got her when I was 13 and had her into my 30’s so we really did grow up together. I also wouldn’t be painting pets if it wasn’t for my unhealthy obsession with Poppy!!

Miss you Pops thanks for being the best xoxox

Things people have sent me to paint their pet’s on, part 2 👩🏼‍🎨🐶

Another round with some expensive things I was terrified to paint on. The “painting” and “items” are split on my website so for all pet portrait options you can provide your own item to paint on!

There’s no real limits for what kind of item you can paint on so long as it is leather, faux-leather or a thick fabric (no suede or stretchy materials). So long as you can get it to me in Manchester, then I’ll paint on it!

I also stock a lot of items for painting, these are on my website under “items for painting”

I love painting pet portraits on random materials but I did promise myself I wouldn’t do anything waterproof again, they’re so fiddly to do and then impossible to photograph!

Custom Name Tags!! If you wanna be as cute as Sushi and would like a dog tag I have a couple spares from when I made some! Instead of them gathering dust I may as well use them up and raise a little money for our favs New Beginnings Animal Rescue

There is a listing on the homepage of my website for the dog tags, link in bio & story. They are free with free shipping but in exchange please make a donation to NBAR via the PayPal pool linked on the listing. I am requesting a minimum donation of £7 per dog tag.

I don’t have many available but maybe I’ll get some more in the future. Please note these are UK only!!

♠️ Ace - Ace

Who better to be on an Ace than this super handsome boy called Ace!! Ace is a border collie who sadly had an accident and had to have his leg amputated, but he absolutely loves live on 3 legs 🥹

Still slowing working my way through playing cards, I am nearly halfway which is kinda wild cos this one year project is already onto year two! I love them so much though and I’m determined to make a deck that I’m proud of so to say I’ve been a perfectionist is an understatement.

I’m also still waiting for Instagram to allow me photo comments (honestly wtf) and then I will do a ‘competition’ for the cats to be on the joker cards, hopefully that’ll be before 2027!

Some playing card notes:

♥️ For anyone included in the deck I need to scan and photograph them together once they’re all complete. Each card takes around 4 hours to paint (which is 200+ hours of painting) I’m doing my best to get these completed asap. I’ll send an email to let everyone know when they’re complete and confirm postal addresses to send them to you. I’m going to take some time off in the new year to finish these all, TY for being patient!! 😘
♣️ Once they are complete, I will have a playable deck of all 52 cards available to purchase.
♦️ I might have a few more breeds I need to paint within the deck, I will post this when I have completed all of my current dogs, otherwise all slots are full.
♠️ I do not offer custom playing cards to be purchased, this may change one day but I get a lot of messages about it and until the deck is complete I won’t be selling custom cards. I’ll definitely announce if I do & hopefully will one day!!

Woke up from a nap to some fun messages 🫠 Multiple people have sent me this account today, posting my content, a lot of me & my painting 🙋🏼‍♀️👩🏼‍🎨

Photos of jackets I’ve painted, photos I’ve taken, content from IG and even reels that they’ve reposted.

I’ve never worked with them, supplied them with images or given them permission to use any of it.

And possibly my favourite bit of irony… they watermark their own content. 😂

Meanwhile, they’re reposting mine.

I’ve now sent them a cease & desist and I’m looking into what happens next.

It’s honestly so frustrating seeing years of work from being used to promote someone else’s product.

But thank you to the few people who sent this to me today! ❤️

It is actually mad how much this happens to small businesses, I’ve left their name out of this mainly so they don’t get any more free exposure. They have a very bad rating on trustpilot, so if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!!
