Two years of working together within a shared studio space has come to an end. Sharing ideas, conversations and techniques daily has allowed us to share our inspirations and work towards a final group show to mark the end of our shared cohort. This final group show will reveal to the public a range of contrasting styles and mediums brought together as ei8ht, marking the transition of eight fellow
students into eight emerging and individual artists. Eight words to describe this exhibition and artists who are collaborating together: -
Experience. Change. Obsessive. Time. Repetition. Journey. Process. The show has no theme or brief yet each artist’s work sits comfortably with the next, the eight words outlined above each individually picked by a member of the exhibiting group outline similar trains of thought between eight varying practices. This contrast of similarities and differences teamed within a group mindset promises to deliver a fresh and exiting body of work creating a diverse and contemporary exhibition of artwork. A journey that started together will now end together.
