We are the Indian Dance Society of the University of Manchester!

|| AIM ||

To give the students at Manchester the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of different Indian dance styles.

|| WHAT WE DO? ||

-We have weekly dance classes in the Student Union on Thursdays 6-8pm.
-We have an advanced team that practices on Sundays 12-2pm and regularly performs at events.
-We perform at events

inside and outside the University of Manchester
-We compete at national-level dance competitions.
-We regularly upload videos of the different performances we give. Prior experience is not a requirement so don’t worry if you've never danced before. We’re here to help you and to ensure that you'll enjoy yourself. Our society is open to everyone, whether you enjoy dancing or simply want to try it out. Students from other universities are welcome as well.
