We lucked out with the weather this year and have all dispersed up and down the country to our homes, have a long warm shower, lots of water and a good sleep before the laptops creak open and the spreadsheets start again.

Huge thanks to the Download Festival team as always for the hospitality, inspiring new ideas and pushing the boundaries every year.

This was as many of the team and friends as we could find in place and highlights part of the problem/joy: there's so much variety in the programming and activities that out group chat was constantly an exchange of, "I'm going to this, who wants to join?" before we piled into the house every night to compare notes.

Special note to one of our favourite sets of the weekend from Skindred. What a packed tent and an infectious energy. Can't wait to see that again soon!

Some traditions just sort of happen.

Every year, thousands of photos get taken in front of the RADAR hedge. Friends reunited. New friendships formed. Couples. Bands. Discord meet-ups. The occasional collection of complete strangers who somehow become friends by Sunday.

We love looking back through them because they tell the story of the festival better than we ever could. Some of you have your profile pictures as these backgrounds. Show off your best, we love to see them.
