There's something special about events like this. 🎶

Glossop Heritage Weekend isn't just a celebration of the town's history, it's a celebration of the people who make it what it is. Throughout the weekend, the streets were filled with live music, performances, entertainment, and familiar faces at every turn. It was incredible to see such a strong community come together, with so many people stopping to chat, support local performers, and enjoy everything the weekend had to offer.

We were proud to provide audio support for the live entertainment and help ensure every performance could be heard by the crowds that gathered throughout the town.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers, and everyone who came along. Events like these are a reminder of just how important community is, and Glossop certainly has plenty of it. ❤️

A weekend celebrating local history, community, and live entertainment 🎶

We were proud to support this year's Glossop Heritage Weekend, providing audio across a packed programme of live music, performances, and entertainment throughout the town. From the parade to the stage, it was fantastic to see so many people come together to celebrate Glossop's heritage and keep the town centre buzzing.

From lifting heavy speaker stacks and road cases to handling equipment no thicker than a millimetre, working with sound requires a huge range of skills.

Our engineers move from the physical side of the job straight into the precise and delicate. They’re fitting, maintaining and repairing microphones, making sure every tiny component is set up perfectly before anyone steps on stage.

These jawline radio mics might be small, but they’re absolutely critical. No matter how big the PA system or how large the audience, it all comes down to this tiny piece of kit doing its job.

And yes… they’re also very expensive and look like a mouse

Back in April we had the pleasure of supporting Factory International for the Factory Sounds 2026 sound testing day at the beautiful Albert Hall Manchester.

It was a brilliant day working with a lineup of talented emerging artists, giving them the time and space to refine their live sound, test equipment, and run through their setups ahead of the big day.

We’ve known for just over a year now, and every time we work with her we’re reminded just how special her voice is...

She’s always a joy to have around, and every session with her leaves us more impressed than the last. Watching her develop her sound over the past year has been incredible, and the way she connects with a song is something you can’t teach.

This performance is a perfect example. The tone, the control, the emotion. It all speaks for itself.

A seriously talented artist and one we’re very excited to keep working with 🎤
