Rhythm Lab Records kick off their brand new series 'giRLs', with collaborative single 'Underdog' by Kahreign and Shauna 💥 At a time when 84% of women within the music industry still feel that they're being treated differently because of their gender, initiatives like giRLs are striving to address these stats. With support from The Youth Music Foundation, the series facilitates release-ready collaborations between women who have never met before, working to provide women and non-binary artists with the space, resources and time to do so. We had a chat with Kahreign and Shauna about the process, their musical backgrounds and where they hope to see the music industry in the near future...
