We're very excited to announce our full line up for our party on August 23rd!
The event starts at 3pm outdoors, moving inside around 8 then carrying on until 1am!
The line up includes the re-introduction of one of our original stalwart DJs-Coops, who will be digging through his true connoisseur's collection of vinyl to bring you all manner of worldly festival goodness: afrobeat, highlife, salsa, ska, reggae, psych, funk and more, harking back to some of our original parties back in the day!
We're over the moon to have SNO joining us for the first time. This wonderful Manchester based, South African DJ has been steadily building up a storm for some years now, bringing her passion for highlighting pan African records which aren't otherwise often heard to both radio and major festival stages all over the world. Joe Botham is a musician, artist and chef of international fame! Well known for his band R.S.L. who provided one of the biggest summer festival anthems of recent times, Wesley Music, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPYbJ5X-55w Whilst initially studying flamenco guitar which lead to a passion for authentic Iberian cooking, he has more recently been developing a new project 'The Adventurers of the Love Generation' which has already been pricking up the ears of the likes of Luke Unabomber et al. This has led to journeys of discovery around guitar and sitar sounds and effects, some of which he is going to bring to us live in the garden. Not to be missed!
Filling in gaps, and rounding things off are our residents, Citizen Simmo, DJ Marco and Balaphonic (aka Moodymanc) who will also be showcasing some tracks from the recent 'Revolution Revolutions' album alongside new material to be aired for the very first time!
Tickets are available at Skiddle, with prices for daytime event only, alongside evening and day. Whilst we may be accepting some payments on the door we would like to remind you that capacity at The Carlton Club is strictly limited so would strongly advise purchasing in advance!
