Meet your selectors for our massive Doodle Summer Party on Saturday 1st August.
First up, hailing from Bristol with an immense record collection that’s guaranteed to knock your party socks clean off, is Admin. A hugely respected DJ and producer, he’s earned admiration from some of the biggest names in the scene, with tracks appearing on revered compilations including Mr Bongo’s Record Club and Luke Una’s E Soul Cultura series. It’s a real privilege to welcome him to Manchester.
Martin (45 Records)
We’ve crossed paths with Martin through a series of wonderfully serendipitous moments over the past couple of years. He invited us to play at his beautiful record shop in Lancaster before bringing Charlie and Amuse Bouche together for an unforgettable session at Chugg, held at the Golden Lion, a couple of months ago. Our lads haven’t stopped talking about it since. Expect a killer set rooted in his beloved Drug-Chug sound, perfectly primed to get Honey Street moving.
Charlie
Our capitano. Also known as Charles or Charlibobs, Charlie has been the beating heart of Doodle for over 15 years. His effortlessly beautiful selections have soundtracked countless unforgettable moments, and we can’t wait for another chapter on Saturday.
Amuse Bouche
A DJ and producer with an enviable collection, deep pockets of curveballs and an instinctive ability to read a dancefloor. Expect the unexpected, delivered with impeccable taste.
Joe (Josephine)
Last but certainly not least, Joe. His records are considerably stronger than his Achilles. The newest member of the Doodle family, but with enough parties under his belt to charm even the spiciest dancefloor ravers. He’s going to be a lot of fun.
