Cross Street's next lunchtime recital, on Friday 29th May at 1pm, will feature members and staff from the Hallé and RNCM. We are looking forward to welcoming Hugh McKenna (oboe), Sarah Bennett (flute), Linda Merrick (clarinet) and Lauryna Sableviciute (piano) for a programme of music by Camille Saint-Saëns, Malcolm Arnold, Francis Poulenc, Maria Dranishnikova, Arthur Bliss and more.

We're extremely excited to welcome pianist Duncan Honeybourne next week, on Friday 13th March at 1pm, for the first of our bonus recitals in 2026.

"Duncan Honeybourne enjoys a diverse profile as a pianist and in music education. Following his concerto debuts at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, and the National Concert Hall, Dublin, he made recital debuts in London, Paris, and at international festivals in Belgium and Switzerland. Commended for his "gripping performances" (The Times), "glittering performances" (International Piano) and "great technical facility and unfailing imagination" (Musical Opinion), Duncan has toured extensively as soloist and chamber musician, broadcasting frequently on BBC Radio 3 and radio networks worldwide. His many recordings reflect his long association with 20th and 21st century British piano music. He teaches at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Academy and the University of Southampton."
